Vision

To know the Lord Jesus Christ and make Him known

At Church in the Falls, our vision is to grow in our knowledge of God. In the Bible, Jesus declares: “This is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent” (John 17:3)

We learn to know God through His Son:
  • “No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.” (John 1:18)
  • “Be imitators of God…and walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us” (Ephesians 5:1)
Jesus commanded us to make Him known to others:
  • “As the Father sent me, I am sending you” (John 20:21)
  • “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Mathew 28:19-20)
